commonly referred to as "Chucks"

COVER:  the green garrison cover (depicted) or barracks cover may be worn.

BADGES (optional): Marksmanship badges are centered above the left east pocket with the bottom edge of the holding bar ⅛ inch above the pocket’s edge. When two badges are worn, they are symmetrically placed on a line with about ¾ inch between holding bars.  Women’s uniform may be as little as ¼ inch in between bars. When three badges are worn, ¼ inch spacing and ⅛ spacing for women.

RIBBONS (optional): Centered ⅛ inch above the  left pocket and parallel to the top edge. When shooting badges are worn, ⅛ inch above the widest holding bar of the marksmanship badge.  Normally worn in rows of three, but rows of 4 may also be worn. All rows must be the same number of ribbons except for the top row.

BREAST INSIGNIA (Wings) Centered left/right ⅛ inch above the ribbons.

UNDERSHIRT (optional): The white crew-neck or the V-neck undershirt is authorized with male service and dress uniforms at the individual's option. Marines may wear optional short-sleeve crew-neck or V-neck undershirts of any material as long
as it meets the command’s minimum safety standards and have a Marine Corps approval identification number. Whether an undershirt is worn is at the individual's discretion except that the crew-neck undershirt will be worn when required by the commander at such times when uniformity is considered essential.

ENLISTED GRADE INSIGNIA: 4 inches below shoulder seam, centered on the seam. (3 inches below for E8 and above)

OFFICER GRADE INSIGNIA:

BELT: Belts for all uniforms will be worn at the natural waistline with the right edge of the buckle (wearer's right) on line with the edge of the fly or coat front.

From the Order:

The short-sleeve khaki shirt with appropriate service trousers or skirt/slacks is designated as the service "C" uniform. During the winter season, commanders may, at their discretion when the weather requires, authorize the service "C" uniform. This uniform may be worn as a uniform of the day and for leave or liberty, unless otherwise prescribed by the commander, and may be prescribed for formations at parades or ceremonies on and off the military activity. This uniform will not be worn for formal or semiformal social events.

Officer and enlisted female service uniforms are the same, except officers wear their rank insignia on the shirt collar and enlisted Marines wear cloth insignia on their sleeves.
